Keeping the mind active in a positive way will help to keep emotions balanced. Simple everyday activities like chatting about how you feel, drawing or colouring, doing a jigsaw or playing a game of cards are the most effective ways of remaining emotionally healthy. Some of these activities promote talk and discussion in the family while some activities allow you time to be with your own thoughts.
