At St Aidan’s, we aim to instil our pupils with a sense of awe, wonder and stewardship in the world and create fun, stimulating science lessons that nurture children’s innate curiosity. It is our intent to deliver a hands-on, enquiry-based curriculum which promotes questioning, challenge, working practically, investigation, evaluating, making choices, working collaboratively, and using scientific vocabulary. We want our children to develop an understanding of the uses and implications of science. We want them to recognise how it has changed and shaped our lives and how vital it is to the future, and its importance in a range of jobs.
